                     Eid is an important festival of Muslims. Ramadan is the name of a month in the twelve months of Muslims. The month of Ramadan is considered very holy. In the religion of Islam, the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on the occasion of observing the new moon after fasting for the whole month of Holy Ramadan. It is also popular as a festival of breaking the Rosa. This festival is celebrated at the end of Ramadan.

This occasion is a feast and joy for the Muslim religious people. The word Fitr is derived from the Arabic word 'Phatar'. Which means break up. The word Fitr also has another meaning which originates from the word Fitrah. Which means begging. Ramadan, like other Islamic festivals, does not come on a particular day. It is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Thus, this whole month is like festivals. Ibadat or prayer, food and reconciliation are the major features of this festival.
